About me
Ruth Chang is the Vice President of Business Development and External Affairs at Northwest Permanente (NWP). She joined the medical group in 2005 and has served in a variety of leadership roles in care delivery, revenue cycle, documentation and coding, equity, inclusion and diversity, and people operations. Northwest Permanente partners with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest to care for over 600,000 members in Oregon and southwest Washington.
She has served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians (April 2019-May 2020) and is currently the junior delegate to the American Academy of Family Physicians. She also serves on the board of directors for Orchid Health and on the Steering Committee for the Robert Graham Center.
In her free time, she enjoys studying martial arts, playing music, cooking, snowboarding and surfing with family and friends.
