About me
Kristin Bendert, MD, MPH is a family medicine physician with a special interest in maternal-child health. Initially from the Midwest, she completed her Medical Doctorate and Masters of Public Health degrees at Saint Louis University, Missouri. She completed her four-year residency at Oregon Health and Science University, utilizing the bonus year of training to gain further expertise and skills in prenatal and obstetrical care. For the next seven years she performed full-spectrum family medicine including deliveries and inpatient newborn care. She was then recruited by the Neighborhood Health Center, an FQHC with several clinic locations in the greater Portland area, to spearhead a collaborative project to increase access to maternal health services in underserved populations. She is excited to share the tools and experiences she has gained through the Primary Care Beyond Clinic Walls program.
