About me
As Medical Director of the OHSU POCUS Program, Dr. Piro oversees ultrasound curriculum at all levels of medical training. He chairs the multi-disciplinary POCUS Task Force at OHSU and has overseen the integration of an encounter-based workflow in acute care spaces in this role. He is currently on the Board of Governors for AIUM. He is passionate about POCUS-informed clinical decision-making, building system-wide supports for POCUS, and mentorship.
